Time Moves On
Lives are remembered
As words are written
Words are forgotten
As time moves on
Who we are
And who we were
Is just a name
Fluttering in the breeze
We all hope that one day
Ages and ages hence
Someone will recall our name
And remember who we once were
But truth be told
Life is not what we wish it to be
And time moves on
Leaving us in the nameless shadows
