Time Flies Poem by Kailey Marie Abbott

It’s late at night
And I’m lying in bed
Trying to sleep
But then my mind wanders into the past
And I think to myself
It all went to fast
I think back to the times that matter most to me
I try to remember what I was thinking during that time
Or what I was feeling
Then I think
When this all happened I had no idea what was going to happen after
And now it’s after
I guess I’ll never know what’s going to happen next
But after this happens I’ll still be looking at before
And wish I had that time back
I’ll always miss the past
Cuz it always goes by to fast
