Time Confusion X 2 (Fun Poems) Poem by David Harris

Time Confusion X 2 (Fun Poems)

Rating: 3.5

Time Confusion One

The further west you go
Time goes backward as you know
So if I flew west around the world
Would I get back before my journey began?

Time Confusion Two

If I flew to a place,
that was seven hours behind.
Why would it take me twelve hours to get there?
And if I started back after landing.
Would I meet myself in between,
going as I was coming back?

The constant recalculation of time that one must do to keep in touch with o'seas friends has left me many a time with a headache.... Though the time I spent my birthday on the East Coast of Australia then flew to the West Coast and had a further 3 hours added on was kind of neat.... Nice piece my friend Alison
