Time Changes Poem by Francis Duggan

Time Changes

Time changes everything the years come and go
And the enemy of the past today may not be the foe
And they lose out to time the ways of the past
And few things as is said are known for to last
So lucky are those with the power to forgive
With a toxic grudge they do not have to live
They have been born with a great gift indeed
And of more of their sort the Human World is in need
Like all other life forms us humans born to die
A mere fact of life and fact never lie
We age rather quickly beyond our physical prime
And eventually we all does lose out to time
Your adversary of the past no longer the enemy
Time can be the healer would you not agree.
