Time Poem by Priscilla Monroy

Time

Rating: 4.5

The clock ticks away the seconds pass by
I am still here nothing
The clock ticks away the minutes pass by
I am still here nothing has changed
The clock ticks away the hours go by
Move do something change
The clock ticks away as the days go by
Change hurry do something now
The weeks go by
I think I am content with nothing
The months go by
My age changes panic comes
The years go by
I did nothing

When I was young, I remember feeling and thinking these same things. It seems that your brain has nothing to occupy it, so it starts to complain. Wherever you are, it is somewhere you really don't want to be. You are unhappy because you don't have the loving caring people around you who can occupy your mind. GW62
