Till Echoes Fade Away - Poem by Connie Yost

Till rocks no longer shower from the sky,
Till fir trees can't remember how to sigh,
Till echoes fade away without reply,
Till mountain peaks are nigh instead of high,
Till clouds have all forgotten how to cry,
Till thunder doesn't grumble passing by,
Till clowns forget to tumble on the fly,
Till then I shall but mumble, 'who am I? '

Poet's Notes about The Poem

I was inspired to write this by meteor showers now taking place each night.
