As I lay my head down to sleep
All I can do is look up at the sky and think
As I look to the sky just for a peek
Guess what I see?

I see moons to planets and planets to starts
But only one really shines to me
Its light shines bright and brilliant
It is so simple yet eternally intimate
and its light shines on endlessly in the sky

Of all the stars and planets around me there is only one star I truly see
Her name just happens to be
