storming through fields of fears
caught by one in sight
plagued by storms of tears
unable to subside

wandering off the cliff
hope and sorrow collide
i am down in disbelief
my door is out of sight

strip off this melancholy
come and bring me light
to help me finish my story
with love by my side

i am now lost in shadows
with none but i in sight
the mist has fogged up tomorrow
prolonging time's dwelling bite

till the sun comes out
i'll stay far behind
among the shrubs around
away to wait-not to hide
