Thy Mask Poem by Anonymous Jr.

Thy Mask

Thou hath not an understanding
Of time to come nor time passed
Yet you set forth underneath the devil's wing
Never to remember what happened last

Onward you trot to tomorrow
Thou hath not a care for thy friend
Not a care for thy happiness nor sorrow
Onward with a stone heart 'til the end

What evil hast created such a beast
Which cares not for thy fellow
Not a frown nor a tear at the least
Thou might hath an underside yellow

T'is thy mask, thy mighiest shield
For life, the barren battlefield
