Through Your Eyes Poem by Blossom Mist

Through Your Eyes

Darkness surrounded my world
Gripping me in a tight hold
As being sucked into a black hole
I grope to find any loops to loosen the stronghold
I end up scratching my soul, fighting to sustain any hope
But I keep roaming in swiveling circles, bruised n beaten
Crying at my plight without a reason
I lay there clouded by my thoughts
As a sparrow with a slit throat cast across
I fight with all my might, as survival wasn’t my aim
I wanted to redeem my only claim
As darkness remained, I chose to pertain
Cos, I was certain I would receive a divine intervention
A flicker of hope, a glimmer of light
The sun came pouring with all its might
The darkness slipped and it faded
And I was no longer jaded
My world shone with brilliance
And I gained a new elegance
I laughed and I smiled, I thanked the heaven
For sending you by my side
I got hope and there was light
I rose now to see the world “Through your Eyes”
