Through Our Tears Poem by David Harris

Through Our Tears

Rating: 5.0

The walls in our house are never empty
many memories are hanging on them there.
Photographs of days of old,
each capturing a moment in our time.

A day at the beach
frolicking on the sand
under the sun.

Standing beside our old car
that took us out on Sundays
to enjoy the country air.

Our wedding day so long ago
with the family gathered round
toasting our long life together.

The Anniversaries we have had
to celebrate those years
all hang on our walls.
Our happiness through our tears.
