Three Words Forgotten

Starring at the pantry door for so long in the dim light
Forgot long ago about his appetite
Its cold but he won’t turn on the heat
Lately he hasn’t had much sleep

He’s just an empty boy who never knew his place
He said “its only rain” but the tears rolled down his face

He thought there was something solid beneath
But every thing is crumbling under his feet
He dreams about her every night
About the girl with eyes full of light

But he’s just an empty boy who never knew his place
He said “its only rain” but the tears rolled down his face
