Three Sorts Poem by Ananta Madhavan

Three Sorts

The Massmen consolidate
The gains of history;
The Energymen burn up
The community chest;
The In-betweeners pack the stands
At the Big Match.

The Massmen become statues
And swap foundation stones;
The Energymen run around
Like electric mice;
The In-betweeners browse the channels
And drink another pint.
