Three Little Boys Poem by Butterflies In My Belly Forever

Three Little Boys

Three little boys
Into everything.
Throwing this,
Throwing that.
Searching for that one thing! !

I want that one!
No I do,
Dear Lord help me,
The other one says it too!
So the one who found it says
'Hay YOU'
I'll give you this for your Batman Shoes'.
The second boy says 'NO WAY'!
Then I'll have the blues.
The third one says 'I'll trade you, I have Batman Shoes...'
The first one says...'HMPH...NO WAY! ! ...you do'?
The third one says 'Sure I do'.
And so they made they trade.
The first and second boy were leaving and the third boy said to him..
'Those shoes didn't fit me anyway'!

You described the scene so well when kids get together to play, BIMBF. To hear the banter between them in this marvellous write reminds me of my own kids, two girls and a boy, when they were around the same age. Kids often swap toys back and forth and you caught that scene wonderfully well in this entertaining poem. Carl.
