Catch a thread of whimsy thought
Weave it into yarn of verse;
Spin it gently into a plot,
Let it free and so disperse.

Let it cluster, let it dance
Let it choose the words it will,
Let it make for a romance
of thought and word and syllable.

Then slowly mould it, let it form
a message springing forth from soul;
Make it yours, to heal, heartwarm,
To soothe and calm and to console.

With every thread of thought set free,
weave a brilliant tapestry!
