Thought Fraught With Danger; Life Rife With Pain Poem by David Knox

Thought Fraught With Danger; Life Rife With Pain

I'm gonna write anywhere, from or to
For me or for you
Nothing will stop my hand from finding the words
I don't care if I have to go against herds
Of people, enemy or foe, I face it all for you darling
This poem is a beautiful rose of our love, not one with gnarling
Throns and thistle but
Adorned with lovve, joy, and happiness, alas my love
Tis forbidden is there no way out of this rut
Of pain and torture, aloneness when love is withheld, this is no dove
I can't live like this loving you but never allowed to show
Never allowed to let you know
I am in pain again... I love you
