Those Resolutions Poem by William Shuttleworth

Those Resolutions

Rating: 5.0

The Jing-A-Ling Holidays are over -- a new year has begun
Challenging days lie ahead where crucial battles cry to be won
Yearly resolutions spotlight embarrassing weaknesses -- we have broken them before
In the wrestling arena of inner conflict -- flesh and spirit's struggling war
Yet an Olympian's shout of victory is available to all
When we trust the living Savior who will lift us from the grip of Adam's fall
