There is nothing that makes a kid smile more
Than when school is closed for the day
Yes, it snowed and snowed all the night before
They wouldn't have it any other way.

Mom and dad look out the window and see
It is iffy if there will be schools open now
So they sit by the news to watch school closure
Everyone waits and waits for the snow plow.

Coats, hats, mittens and scarfs too come out
It is fun to watch children at snow winter play
Snowmen, snow women and children created
Yes, kids cherish those magical snow days.
