Those Days Poem by Ulysses Cabinatan

Those Days

the smile
the face
the sweet loveliness
ohhhhh
I miss her so much now

the laughter
the fun
everything was happiness
Those times,
when we were together

the silence
when our minds run out of words
but our hearts
continued to talk

the gazed from those eyes
those perfect eyebrows
the eyelashes
She’s really an angel in disguise

Her lovely skin
as it touches mine
the warmth from her embrace
the hug, those arms
now are just memories
printed in my heart

wish we’re still together
and free me from this longing
I miss her so much
