This Wonderful Infection

An infection has taken my mind
And no cure can I find
It grips me tight and won't let go
First hit slow but then the signs did show
Little by little it took control
Taking my mind, eating me whole
Now I can't ignore it's there
Reminded by the sound of her name, the smell of her hair
This infection is her voice, her smile
This infection is why I drive each mile
It's captured me and I make this confession
I simply love this wonderful infection
