This Spider World Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

This Spider World

Rating: 5.0

Nine months in deep sleep,
Today a child is born;
This is the poetry of my way of life,
This is the poetry of your way of life;
Our minds to the peoples around us.

Nine months in deep sleep,
Today a child is born;
So enter into the world so sweet with,
The muse and the muses!
This Spider World is full of strings.

To and fro to make ends meet,
After nine months of deep sleep;
Of the potraits and masks of one's life,
When a child is born into this spider world.

Soft words like oil,
Smooth life like butter,
Of a joyous occasion with the muse;
Today a child is born.
This Spider World full of strings,
This act of 'to and fro' to make ends meet;
We are all in this Spider World together.
