This Mailman Poem by Twiggy C. Tubercio

This Mailman

This giant
Government official
Stereotypically afraid of dogs
Short shorts
And a stalking like attitude
Bringing shame and fear into every “citizens” eyes
Sliding that little white wreck into your life
Like a bee
A bee that stings
And then leaves
A bee whos traditionally educated visits
Are seldom like pie
Bring me the mail
Bring us the mail man
A placid kataklysm
All in the few feet that stomp
All in the eyes that weep
And the eyes that wept
Alone the bodies that sleep
None the bodies that slept
