This Inner Flame Called Love Poem by Colin Coplin

This Inner Flame Called Love

Rating: 4.0

She gives advice, I sometimes reject
And it's not because, she's lost my respect
There's just situations, she cannot see
Though she's the reason, for my democracy
She asks me questions, I cannot solve
Though it's around her heart, that my life revolves

For those who understand, this inner flame called love
Will know that without it, life can be tough

She lights the path that points the way
Yet she doesn't know the role I play
In a physical sense it may not show
But my soul walks with her wherever she goes
It's the reason for being who you are
It's the destiny that makes you travel far

For those who understand this inner flame called love
Will know that without it life can be tough

She's the Guardian of life
She makes your dreams
If your inner flame is burning
You'll know just what I mean.

Happy Mothers Day Mum
