This Cruel World Poem by Nicholas Titus

This Cruel World

We live in a world made out of money
We are the bees and that is our honey
We live in a world that can be bought in a store
We live in a world that doesn’t care anymore
The government who rules our day
Likes for you to think that you have a say
A group of old men who think they can rule
They make us out to look like fools
They do not care for poverty
Only care for property
If only your voice could sway
The decisions made throughout the day
