Thinking Of You Poem by lish hope

Thinking Of You

Silently rehearsing life spend together
In pictures of moments as they snap my mind unbidden
Letting me see what i have been thinking deeply about
While sitting here in silent awakening
A great void of emptiness having been created from within
Leaving behind the loneliness of a life unlived

I think of all the things, even the very little things you do
I remember all the funny times
Your strong arms tightening around me
Making me feel so safe and cared for
At your thought, my smile appear
Which leaves no room for fear

Have found love everyday spent with you
I count the joy, i count the pain
Your love has gained life in my soul
Deep rooted in my heart
My thoughts constantly thinking of you

As i lay down, i'm lost without a cause
After giving it my all
Winter storms have come, and darkened my sun
The rain is falling
I'm searching for that one opened door

In you i can be strong
After all my strength is gone
When the melodies are gone
I here the echo of you voice
Take me away from the battle
I need you to shine on me
