I lie in my bed
remembering you
and the things we
would do.
I think of how
close we got
at the end of our time we had;
Why did have to end?
If only you were here
I know I should
let you go,
but I still remember
when you said
you loved me
and it makes my
heart beat so fast.
I wonder if you
think of me at night
when I think of you.
I want to see you agsin,
to talk to you
or even just to
see you smile once again.
But what would I say?
You told me you
wanted to stay here
and be with me
but you couldn't.
Do you still love me?
or was it just said
in desperation?
Will we ever be together again?
Will ever see your smile.
or caress cheek?
I know not.
All I know is my heart
aches just thinking of you.
I can say you took my heart
away with you
And i can honestly say
I may love you too.
