What…?
A long thought of youth
The memories of years
And the looking back
That reveals hope of dawning life

Whenever I am miserable
It seems I have always unhappy
And keep remembering all the unpleasant
And disappointing things
That had ever happened
When things are going wonderfully well
It seems as though
Life has never been so bad
And miserable
My heart will load with joy and happiness

In thought abide a power
That binds world to soul
The power that forget and remember
It forgets things that sadden soul
And remember things that gladden soul
A rueful smile on my face
And shyness in my gaits
Whenever I remember unpleasant things
When I recall pleasant memories
They bring a sunny smile to my face
And bounce to my steps

A vexed man I become
When I look at the past
A past with its heritage and hopes
Of all good and hills
Happy man I am
When I look at the present
Present with the opportunity
That knows no bound of good
And optimistic I become
Whenever I look at the future.
Future with years that never end
And know no sorrow
Loaded with success and victories
A bright one indeed!
