They say that love is blind, for the blind do walk in love
They say that love is precious uniting two as one
They say that love can heal all wounds held down deep within
They say that love can conquer death to overcome the grief
They say that love is the best foundation on which we all should live
They say that love can make a heart pound twice as hard each day
They say that love can mend a heart that's broken out of shape
They say that love can give new life as long as we don't stray
They say that love can overcome a multitude of sins
They even say that love is strong it binds up all despair
So if love is such a thing that all men should desire
then how come many do not grab it but rather settle for war
