They Fall Like Rain

as the rain falls,
it masks the tears.
they fall endlessly....
and no one bats an eye.
the rain is always falling,
as well as the tears.
no one notices....
not until it hits one who's close.
only then do people care.
as those around them fall.
and their world collapses.
but yet the rain continues to fall,
uncaring.
as the tears only increase.
