They Could Feel Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

They Could Feel

Rating: 5.0

They could feel "Something's wrong."
All people, even towns: "Something's wrong."

Searched and searched
They went on:
"What's missing? "
"What is lost? "

"Freedom, Race-less-ness, Gender-less, rights of child, "
"The nature, depths of seas, galaxies, animals..."

All agreed and fought on.
Unleashed leashed
Of deep wells, brought out
Sun shining; days bright

They claimed "It is solved."
Same old pains "Right is wrong."
"What's missing? "
"What is wrong? "

Hopes turned to ambition
Laws grew from whispers.
Search for peace, will for right
Sex governed, love in cave
Kindness bat in darkness,

"What is right? "
"What is wrong? "

Long has lived this taboo
Neither dies nor is solved

Came with myths
From Roma and Greece
From China and Iran
From Adam and his sons

It always lingers on.
It's not solved by talks, wars.
