These Lies We Tell Poem by Becca Bell

These Lies We Tell

Rating: 5.0

Such senseless lies we tell
Absurdities of the mind
Of the many, this is what irks me most of all
Why bother? Why try?
What do we gain?
What's the point?
Exaggerations and fibs
Configured and twisted throughout informal, irrelevant, unimportant conversation
And for what?
Nothing.
That's right;
Absolutely nothing.
