There's No Heat Poem by Neela Nath Das

There's No Heat

Rating: 5.0

It's the month of rain.
The drips will refresh
the tips of the trees
and leaves will bathe
And yell to get the
First drop of water
After the long scorching
Heat and unwanted dust.
There is no fire, no heat
To stop their delight.

Thanks for this beautiful poem which exhibits the eagerness of nature to welcome the first showers of rain after a gruelling summer season.

And the first rain drops will bring memories sweet Of those care free childhood days in retreat When bare foot we ran on puddles in glee Feeling so fresh, so good and so free.................. Madam, a truly well written poem of yours that evokes feeling in the reader

All excesses, even those in nature, are meant to be washed away. This is such a beautiful poem..

Very nicely envisioned and presented. It cools the mind like the rain after summer. Enjoyed. Many thanks.
