The love You showed, O Jesus Lord,
Unmatched remains and eternal;
Your obeisance to Father God
Was as per Prophecy's each Word.
Your birth was from a Virgin's womb
By power of Holy Spirit God;
You died upon the Holy Cross
For sins of mankind for all time.
How can I show my love for Thee,
O Lamb of God, slain, died for me?
There is no greater love than this;
There is no greater death or bliss!
Can Truth and Way and Light ev'r die?
Your resurrection proved the lie;
If not for Christ, can man be saved?
Christ won o'er Death and hell had lost.
Lord, help me carry my own cross,
And follow You to Calvary;
Let me too walk in Thine foot-steps
And reach the Light from whence You came.
Lord, let me live as per Your plan,
And do Your Holy Will I can.
What greater love can be than this
Than You had shown for mankind's bliss?
