There's Mischief In The Air Today© Poem by Roann Mendriq

There's Mischief In The Air Today©

There's mischief in the air today!
The roguish wind is chasing leaves,
that dance away a sweet ballet,
under the shadows of the eaves.

Laughing trees rustle up a roar,
and tremble with a helpless mirth;
The sands upon the playful shore,
toss shells upon the waiting earth.

And blossom petals sweetly smile,
like sprites abounding in the air,
as they rain down all the while,
and tangle in my wind-blown hair!

How wonderful to dance and play
some mischief with the air today!
