there once was
an open door

now that door's
open no more

there once was a man
who could sweep me off
my feet

now he's just a boy
who makes me weep

there once was
hope for tomorrow

now there's just
constant sorrow

there once was a time
when things used to florish

now everything seem's
borish

there once was a time
when i was brave

now i just focus on
everything i can save

there once was a time
i would shout

now all i do is doubt

there once was a time
when nothing would slur

now everything is a
great big blur

there once was a time
when i could have a
blast

now i only dwell on the past

there once was a time when
all my tears were dry

now i can only cry
