There's this girl
She never gives up on you

She loves everyone the same
Even if they don't want her to

She's always smiling
Giving people love

But no one ever asks her
If she needs some cheering up

She's secretly hurting
But it's starting to show through

She can't hold it in any longer
If only she knew she didn't have to

Her name starts with an M
And ends with an E

She keeps on praying
That someone will see

Just how hopeless
This little girl can be

Now that she let it out
Now it's not locked inside

Life is getting better
She escaped suicide

The light is on again
The darkness went away

The smile on her face is real
She's no longer falling astray
