There Are Two Things Poem by Freewill Amon

There Are Two Things

There are two things that I like to hear
Which could be my greatest asset for the year:
One is, 'you are now a millionaire! '
And the other is, 'you are safe to go anywhere'
The first changes the way I live
The second is like a gift.

There are two things I wish to have till death:
One is my health
The other is freedom;
Everyone wakes up everyday and pray for it.
The first is what the rich spend most of their money on
But the second has defined my life, but only to a small extent.

There are things I always pray to happen to me,
But which seems to have eluded me:
One is the working of The Word of God in my life
The other is that I get raptured when Christ will appear in the sky.
The first is everything to me
The second is the best thing that will ever happen to me.

There are two kinds of food that I like:
One is the kind that makes me feel sensual
Another is the kind that tastes very unusual.
I cherish the local kind
Because they connect to my heart
The modern ones mostly please my eyes.

There are two things I can't get fed up with looking at:
One is 'the dancing mama in the kitchen'
The other is 'the bouncing twin in the balcony.'
They take me away and give me the feeling
They are adorable beauties to behold,
And mysteries to unfold.

There are two things which I love taking about;
They are so essential that they cannot be done without:
One is love and the other is peace
I talk about the first because everyone is lovable
And the latter because it is achievable.
