There are days
When you can see
That many people aren't
Who they seem to be
And you feel
That the friend you knew
Wasn't always that much
Of a friend to you
And the people
That you come to care for
Don't even care enough
To show up at your door
There are many feelings
On the street
There are many people
To come meet
There are also many enemies
That you will make
And fighting all of them
Is a risk you'll have to take
There are many people
On this earth
That God designed
Before their birth
And they still turn out to be
Something God
Did not want them to be
