Theory Bug Poem by Deci Hernandez

Theory Bug

If the theory of evolution were true
We would have wings and could fly
We would have an endless amount of teeth
Carry ten times our body weight
With half a breath dive into
The deepest abyss and explore
With a full breath fly to the
Moon

If the theory of evolution were true
One swtep would be a lightning flash
A sprint the sound of the mississipi calm
Look what we've done in two thousand years
And you claim billions as a
Fraction

If the theory of evolution were true
We would have the whisper of the roar
Of a pride of lions the camouflage of
Wind

The appetite of an elephant
The feet of a cetepede
The scent of a lilac
The lips of a fiery
Candle

I aslo have a theory
The theory of a scandle
There is nothing greater than man
(the image of God) save
God

There is nothing but the truth
Save imaginations and lies
And glory is without the
Consequence of
Time
