Theories Poem by Atticus Mortimer

Theories

never heard,
Yet,
always seen,
never thought,
Yet,
always believed,
an Idea so profound,
so unfathomable,
it is rejected,
and instead of being destroyed,
as intended by its nay sayers,
it burns so much brighter,
like a bonfire fueled by gasoline,
burning fiercely for one monumental second,
then discharging itself into the eyes and ears of the masses
