Then It Never Was A Spring Poem by Sadiqullah Khan

Then It Never Was A Spring

It played on your lips,
Such a stay, to the wreck in storm.
Then it never was a spring,
Such prolonged, utter is the winter.
The devastation further -
Lo! We did what you said.
