The Young Sparrow Poem by abu tarek md tahsin

The Young Sparrow

Rating: 5.0

Lost in childish thoughts
i come across now and then
upon the many streets
across this pouring city
of different lives
in Dhaka.

But none sings
like the young sparrow
a tune of old and new
of a long forgotten lore.

and as the sky opens
through the winding streets
of today and tomorrow.

the little sparrow
do sing a tune
of sorrow.

of how one night
cold by the winter sea
her love drowned
by the bright lighthouse.

in a calm sea
with her frosty smile.
