The Young Are Here Poem by Elia Michael

The Young Are Here

The young have come and stepped into our world
Replacing us with zealous liveliness
As tender flower buds are quickly unfurled
Replacing faded flowers with loveliness

The young have come and taken our places
Deservedly so, for we've grown withered
And old with wrinkled skin and tired faces
We've had time, so much time to be weathered

Our lease upon this earth is not eternal
For some, too short, for others, far too long
But for the young it is a crime infernal
To think ahead, to think that far, is wrong

More young are here, they've come to take our place
We have to move aside with kindly grace

Wow wow that's aging up in gracefulness and not grumpy grunting against the youth. To let them take the olden ones places like u put in creative metaphor for the blooming buds to replace the withered flower, wow! A unique poem so kudos again. Pls do review my latest poem too.
