The You I See Poem by okot innocent angeeyo

The You I See

The line as thin as,
That which is between moles,
Threaded between truths and lies
Which I love and hate at ago
Is what sets you off age,
And makes you by far my only
Heart and lung companion,

I, like many humans
Don’t see too long into the next age,
But with you comes the conviction
To live and love simultaneously, every moment I take in and out air.
As if easy, I decide exactly that,
And the conviction fulfills.

My soul and your soul
Conceals for eternity
What is amidst, vowing to forever be.
