The Yellow Balloon Poem by Vera Sidhwa

The Yellow Balloon

Yellow balloon, how high do you fly?
I look at you by and by.
You waft in the wide, wide sky.
I look at your height.

Yellow balloon, you're so huge.
I wonder where you were made.
I wonder when you came about.

High, hot balloon,
I think I know.
I think that your glow,
Is the huge, big sun.
