The Writing's On The Wall
Baby life evolves
it takes on many changes.
Proud you took that leap,
and stepped out of smaller cages.
Nothing could ever change
what you mean to my heart.
Of course I don't want to lose you,
but evolution has pulled us apart.

Do we ever truly evolve? I'm not sure. Pain of saying good bye does alter our beings - sometimes for the good other times for the bad. It's never easy to know which way we will go. Great poem. Thank you for sharing, RoseAnn.
