The World We Live In

This world has alot,
stuff that nobody knows or have forgot.
Moonlit skies, with shining stars,
but killed by fumes of transporting cars.
Beautiful animals with diamonds for eyes
Being killed and left to cry.
The planet and communities are great,
So why do we kill them?
one day it will be too late.
There are diamonds, rubys and gems,
gold, silver and platinum, but do people care?
I bet some dont even know they're there.
There is love and there is pain.
Some people have nothing to gain.
Life on this planet is vast.
and the world has aged with glory,
but do people know?
That they unity is the only way to grow.

The streets are full of hate
Blood shed and verbal diarrhoea
Race, sex, colour and simply who you love
should not be used to abuse or segregate
but used as a way to bond and celebrate
diversity is what fuels progression
we need to wave goodbye to separation
and come together to save the one home we have
