The World Still Spins
The world continues to spin,
It doesn't know where I've been,
Or where I'm going to go,
That, it doesn't need to know.
The world continues to spin,
As I continue to sin,
The places I'm going to see,
Places where I shouldn't even be.
The world continues to spin,
I feel like a washed up has been,
But isn't that what we all are,
For none of you are all that far.
The world continues to spin,
As I try to wash down the gin,
But it's all the same for death,
It always ends in one last breath.
