The World Comes 'Round Full Circle Poem by Jennifer Parks

The World Comes 'Round Full Circle

Moonlight, both old and young
glows eternal in Her cycle -
creating tides, both weak and strong;
and the world comes round full circle.

Existence, being life and death
so continues the Human struggle.
The sun rises in the East and sets in the West;
and the world comes round full circle.

The grass grows green and tall from rain
then sacrifices it's life as fodder.
Animals grow fat from eating the grain,
and the world comes round full circle.

Emotions rapidly change from love to hate
as they temper the human Spirit.
Knowledge and wisdom ripen with age
and the world comes round full circle.

All sorrow retreats with the setting sun
as we celebrate a newborn eve -
reveling in experience, all beings as one -
and the world comes round full circle.
