The World Poem by Vera Sidhwa

The World

The World

Walk around the circumference of this world,
And see for yourself,
The good and the evil,
Battling amongst themselves.

I often wonder where all this comes from.
I really often do.
Where mankind's heart lies,
Then battles ensue.

Walk around the circumference of this world,
And stride along it's diameter.
You'll see people,
Some young, some older.

Can you do anything about the bad?
Can you lift out the sad?
I want to tell you you can,
Make better the story of man.

Truly, we can try to eradicate or decrease the bad by seeing the good in man and encouraging it
